You send a message, they look at your profile then they block you...

Now I know I am a fat hairy bastard with niche market appeal, however I do have feelings, ignore me I can live with..but blocking me when all I have done is send a polite friendly message..well that's just rude..lol

well, in your favour, they clearly haven't read your profile or scrolled to the bottom first and seen your veris - so their loss, eh..?

In their favour - your profile may have come across like the last hairy fat bloke who messaged them and then wouldn't pack it in when asked politely to do so.

Who knows.....????

We have had couples do the same to us when we thought we could be a good match, and we've done it to people when we just get the 'wrong feeling' about them. Blocking is one thing too many people get hung up about on here.

Just move on to the next one...

People block you for all kinds of resons

Ive been blacked many times by people i have never even spoken to

For some a comment on the forum they didnt agree with is reason to block you, looking at your profile when you havnt even mailed them, if they dont like your pics they will block you

I have to admit there have been a couple of occasions where i have looked at a profile of someone i have never mailed or spoken to and ive been blocked and ive thought, why would you block someone you have never spoken to, but it could be things like, they disagreed with someone you have written on your profile or forums, they dont like your pics you have to many verifications, they dont like someone you have met, the list is endless

If people block you dont worry about it, just move onto the next

We write to people and a lot of times don't get a reply, but if they read it almost instantly and then delete the message we know that we aren't for them so we block them, that way we don't accidentally write again

But on the other hand we have had people write to us asking for a meet, we hit reply and we can't because they blocked us as well, we can't understand what that is all about

I can see why you think it rude, and i dont know what the message numbers are like for couples-when i was a couple on here we got a few but we werent verified for a while and had no photos so werent exactly high on the list-but if it's anything like it is for single females then sometimes it is just easier to block anyone you dont want to meet.

Ive started to do that because i tend to find that i get the same messages off the same people who forget theyve messaged me which is a little irritating. I always send a quick reply back to the original message though (if theyve read my profile-see codeword :P).

Dont worry about it

Don't worry about it, and move on. I met a lovely lady who went for a drink with me then blocked me, yet claims she hasn't blocked me!!!???!!!...we STILL text each other though. I just reckon that she doesn't want me potentially poking my nose into what she's doing on the site...???!!! Life is sometimes a bit of mystery...lol... Rich

I've received several messages from the male half of couples asking to meet me and when I click on the profile...hey presto...blocked! I guess they expected and instant reply and when I didn't, they were affraid I would reply when the female was online...naughty!

I totally understand why some take the blocking approach as they get unindated with messages from people and to rule out possible future messages from the same member, they block. Unfortunately some of us don't get bombarded with messages so don't appreciate the hassle.
