Once drove all way through Spain with just three cassettes, one of which was Rumours. So definitely F-Mac and Don't Stop.

Princes Risborough, Luasanne, Alderney

fleetwood mac until 1970-71 ... but when buckingham and nicks joined they became particularly awful yacht rock nonsense. to be honset they should've payed more attention to how much they overworked danny kirwan. bob welch should've been sacked long before his bullying of kirwan drove him to breakdown.

pink floyd have always been inovative and a titanic force in music.

comparison is impossible and they are both iconic in their own right.

Fleet wood mac.

Rumours is a legendary album.

I listened to pink Floyd when I was younger but it's bit pretentious and in love with it's self.

the Goldilocks Zone

Floyd.

Tracks are difficult - going with albums as I never listen to one in isolation.

Everything post Meddle, but Dark side of the moon is a near flawless album

Absolutely love the Division Bell also...

Gilmour... flawless technique - sold.

Post Peter Green F-Mac are a totally different band and one with far less accessible songs. As a guitarist I love the early stuff but in terms of songs the post Peter Green stuff is far superior.

Tell me lies is pop perfection!

Easy one, this. Never liked Pink Floyd. But love Fleetwood Mac, but love Stevie Nicks solo even more.

Fave track? Landslide or Gypsy. X

Love them both.

Fav Fleetwood Mac song for me is Tango in the Night, a real powerful song.

Pink Floyd is Shine on You Crazy Diamond. 13 minutes of blissful guitar and lyrics to make you think.

I used to be in the same year at school back in the 70's, and sat next to Guy Pratt in Geography lessons, I know he was brilliant on the bass at school thou, even after replacing Roger Waters, they've done some top stuff

Scratching my head with this one. There sounds are completely different. Ones a prod rock experimental band and the other one is an easy listening band. Don’t get me wrong, some of fleetwood macs songs are great. But Pink Floyd are in a league of there own. High hope’s,wish you were here, the list goes on.

I like both, but Albatross edges it for me, so many memories.

Stevie N is so enchanting too.

Pinks always struck me as a bit of a University band.

FLeets more ethereal and earthy.
