It's 1st of October, it's no longer too early!

The season of the witch, ghosts, ghouls and general nonsense!

Do you love it or hate it?

I hate Halloween.

I actually really can't cope with it.

I can understand that for some people it is just too much.

I hope that you manage to avoid it enough to make you feel Ok xx

Thank you.

I understand it's fun for many but I actually have a serious phobia of facepaint and don't like people in fancy dress clothing so I don't leave the house on Halloween.

"Where’s those Halloween Cadbury’s creme egg type things?"

Probably Wilkies, or Sainsbury’s/Tesco (insert supermarket of choice here) - they’re usually out before the kids go back to school

I am not a big fan. But thats because of my background and the fact we tend to treat this time as moment of remembering about the ones who passed away.. opportunity for families to gather at cemeteries, lay down flowers, light a candle and pay respect to those no longer with us.

Saying that I gave in about 2 years ago and went trick and treating with kiddos. I guess you can do both.

Well that drives me a bit mad too to be honest, a week before and after is plenty for Xmas.

As long as the supermarkets are selling Christmas sandwiches then I'll cope with the months of build up.

Happy Hallowtober everyone!

I absolutely love it, unashamedly and with joy. Coming from a dual religious background, Halloween was the one celebration that didn't have a religion and the rites associated with it. I love the decorations, the food and flavours. I've even got Halloween tights this year which is amazing! Can't wait to wear them. And now I can officially light my suitably spooky candle and curl up with a good horror without feeling premature.
