Wild boars are on the increase across Europe apparently with reports of gangs of pigs stealing people’s handbags and groceries.

Even pop stars have been targeted..

Where I live they are very common and regularly hunted. But they are dangerous, the father of a friend was hunting (so you might think got what he deserved), and was attacked from behind, the tusk tore through his upper thigh and ass cheek and was trampled as he fell and the boar was biting at the torn flesh before his friends could scare it away, so he was in hospital quite a while.
