I'm coming up on 31, which is obviously still pretty young. But I have like no interest in getting with people younger than me. The oldest I've been with is 61 and I'd probably go older. These whippersnappers are missing out!! x

You're ''finished'' when you're going downhill. This can happen at any age. You can be mature enough or already wasted at 20 or at 70, or 80. Plenty of older people full of life on this site.

We are close to 50 and having the time of our lives.

One reason for that is we are not just using FAB to meet people. We are going to parties, going to clubs, going to socials….

The more you do to increase your circle of friends the more success you’ll have.

Exactly! Men of all ages complain that they can't get meets. Some think it's due to their age, some think women only want gym fit guys etc etc. In reality it's probably down to the high number of men compared to women.

The high percentage of men to women seems to be just on internet dating sites, and swinger sites, and unfortunately they frequented by guys who seem to under the misapprehension that they are a short cut to sex. Obviously then it's going to be more difficult to pull, but if you scrub up reasonably well, and have a reasonable personality, there are places where the women outnumber the guys, and age doesn't even come into it. The classic place I discovered a couple of years ago was line dancing. Whether you like it or not, with anything up to ten women for every guy it's well worth a look. I'm also told that in other dance clubs such as salsa, where there are not enough guys to go round who can move their feet. I'm sure that there are other environments where guys of any age are welcomed with open arms, leaving any meets that you get from the internet being an added bonus.

I remember an occasional FWB telling me that when he was at uni he went to salsa and ballroom dancing lessons and never had any difficulty finding women who were looking for a bit of fun with a handsome younger guy.

I did a literature course a while back and there was only one guy there - he also wasn't short of female attention but being gay meant he didn't take full advantage of it.

Older women will always be more accepted than an older man.

The cougar and cub, toy boy, type relationship or sexual thrill will always be more popular than an older man, younger woman.

An old man with a young girl will be called a pervert and the girl a gold digger, whereas the older woman with the younger man, won't get judged as harshly.

In a club, however, some older gents are just as popular as the younger men.

I didn't join this site until I was 52 and there has never been an issue with my age.

I'm very adamant that I won't meet or even engage with anyone within 10 years of my kids ages but there are lots of others willing to chat.

In fact as I haven't sent a first contact message since February 2020 every conversation I've had since has been initiated by a woman. That proves that if you make an effort with your pics and bio and don't take the usual forum approach many people appreciate that and get in touch and age is never discussed.

I have posted on several threads. Yes my age 67. I use other sites. Now found as older ? . Options to meet very limited. Yet if I was female, get any amount of meets. I do send messages and get replies etc . Going from my experiance only. Once over sixty ? Difficult to get any meet. I do have younger friend . Will get private party invite with her. So hopefully lead to more invites veris etc.
