So I messaged a lady a few years older than me.and yes I know My age limit is 18 99 but I don't realistically expect any interest from.younger women most age cut offs are in the 40s to 50. (.each to their own)

She turned me down.on the grounds that at 58 which was within her age range I looked too young for her to be comfortable.

Fair point but it for me thinking that maybe it's time to give up?

You no longer enjoy it.

You no longer need it in your life.

You no longer enjoy the hunt for cunt.

You no longer enjoy the social interaction.

And not because one person gave you a bogus excuse for not wishing to meet you.

OK why do I think this way?

I am too old for most on here fair one. But now my own age group is saying too young looking.

I am mixed race West Indiam English/ Italian. Not black enough or light enough for others.

And I guess the knock asks are getting a bit much now.

I truly enjoy the lifestyle and its always been part of me. But if its getting me nowhere it does get you thinking. Hey it is what it is

Well she said I looked great but gave out that reason. Still up to her but it's a new one on me.

Others

Too old

Not bi

Not black

Too black

To slim

Not buff enough

Oh and being deaf is off-putting.

Ect ect so it's more me wondering where on earth do I fit in on the general scheme in this lifestyle than not enjoying it when.it does happen that is getting less frequent.

Nope the whole lifestyle so many knock backs kind of become demoralising after a bit and I a talking years. Been on the site and about three meetings. And yes the competition is fierce and so varied one wonders if it is time to bow out gracefully.

If you feel because someone has turned you down its time to leave maybe you need to ask yourself how old you are but if you feel this site is no longer an interest to you then you do what you think is best for you mentally...

We all get turned down for a variety of reasons on here OP, most we never get to hear the 'why'.

Take a positive here - your opening message was strong enough to get her to look and check you out, so clearly you did something right: many guys don't even get that far.

This means you will send other messages to ladies that will also cause them to read and check you out, so be patient. Your time will come.
