What about 1688? William of Orange invaded at Torbay with 15,000 men to depose James II. Of course he had friends at the English court, and James didn't put up a fight,

but it was still a (successful) invasion.

Yes and Fishguard was invaded in 17 something.

1066 is generally accepted to be the last successful invasion but I'm happy to be told other wise
