is it just a boy thing?

today...just putting a simple bolt on my back door (metal door) my dad has broken 2 drill bits, 1 screw, and rounded off the head on 3 other screws

he has a double garage, a shed, a man cave and several drawers around the house full of DIY stuff...if he hasnt got it, you dont need it

Oooooohh nowt wrong with some brute force.....delicious, but i usually manage at least 2 screws

As a tradesman it sounds as though the speed was too high on the drill drop it down to the lowest gear and use cross head screws instead of flat head also use a proper hss steel bit for metal
