Ladies.

How do you cope with arranging meets ?

At the moment my menstrual cycle has gone haywire !

Feel like I can’t arrange anything sexually as I may have to cancel due to bleeding or even start bleeding mid session.

Last month I bled on and off 14 days.

Thoughts please ? X

I'm taking the minipill for irregular bleeding due to my implant. It's stopped my periods altogether.

Not sure if it's an option in your situation? I did it all through the sexual health clinic rather than the GP. Got my last supply from the chemist for a year.

Oh this is me too. Only my gp says I'm too young. I have the contraceptive Implant but i think it needs to come out earlier (January it's due)

I have noted my cycles are 6 weeks in length now rather than 4 and I get irregular spotting but nothing major.

I have watched the Davina documentary, x

You aren’t too young, but also, spotting should be checked.

Good luck at the docs. Mine have dissapeared entirely these last few months I wasnt sure if that was my body telling me it was time. I wouldnt be keen to arrange to meet anyone just yet as I cant predict if and when it might appear.

If the bleeding is not too heavy - look into bepy tampons. They're "fun" to get in and out, but work the treat during those days.

There's a trick to make them almost fall out. Squat in a bath, use the shower hose and let the warm water run inside while pushing like you're about to give birth

On a mooch

I’m on the mini pill, they also gave me a delaying cycle pill which works a treat and got me back on track to a normal cycle or I can delay it if I wish too

South Wales

This is one (of the very many!) reasons I’m not currently meeting.

My temperature, sex drive, moods and periods are all over the place. I’ve given up trying to see my Dr as it would be easier to see The Pope.

When i had that problem i went on the mini pill which stopped my periods completley, it was amazing.

When i started getting hot flushes etc i stopped the mini pill and my GP gave me HRT, also amazing as that made my periods once every 28 days, i had various HRT meds over several years which either made my periods regular or stopped them completely.

All that is behind me now thankfully.

This made me laugh, I did use one once but had a slight panic thinking it would never come back out.
