I guess it depends on the connection you have and what you're looking for. I spoke to my partner online for a year before we could meet.

Sometimes the situation you're in can make it difficult to meet, but if they're worth it and it's meant to be it will happen eventually. Only you can decide if it's worth the wait.

Chat off the site. Speak on the phone and set up a social meet there and then

If they or you prolong it, drama will set in.

3 yrs is insane.

Maybe you had very good reasons not to meet sooner?

That comment is as annoying as “you make time”. Not everyone is able to just “make time or opportunities” unfortunately x

I'm currently only at one meet within 3 years from fab, with a lovely couple who I haven't seen since, I'd love to meet alot more often.

But tbh If I message someone, I could meet say, a week later for coffee? As I like spontaneous meets like that, where I can learn them more

The longest for me has been a couple of years now. Circumstances change, life gets in the way and intentions broaden.

It’s not always just about connections or ‘wanting it enough’ it’s about hundreds of priorities and understanding that intent and will aren’t necessarily enough

I chatted almost 2 years to someone, we couldn't meet sooner as he was in the forces and overseas.

I wouldn't chat that long to anyone who was nearby that I wanted to meet.
