I got there once through sheer dedication and commitment, the down side was I couldn’t go Lidl’s without being mobbed, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, I stepped back from the limelight and am far happier living my life in the shadows. Mine is a cautionary tale.

You need to build a following, essentially. Standard social media stuff:

- Move your location around

- Add everyone as a friend

- Keep people interested with statuses and regular new pics

Not everyone that gets to the top does this, but lots do. And fair play to them, if that's what gets them off

but it's work!

There is nothing wrong with wanting to get on page 1, and it always astound me that it’s considered such a bad thing, in a site full of exhibitionists.

You don’t need to add friends, I don’t, and you don’t need to move your location around either.

It’s generally a bit of luck, getting a good pic that gets lots of fabs, and building up a following. Good luck!

No direct experience but sole observations hat might help as there seem to be some combos of these points that help most who do make it.

Marketing/social media as has been mentioned

Have a super fit body

Have big presence on the forums

Show face and be daring with poses.

Post pics that day ‘fab if you want to …. Whatever’

I’m sure there’s no simple formula - but i doubt it happens overnight without some lengthy effort of some sort and or a LOT of luck.

I have no idea other than staying online and updating your status regularly.

Where its been said above to change your location I've never done that and I don't add people as friends.

I hit page one with my profile pic recently and I didn't think for one minute it would go there when I uploaded it. I was larking about that night and had sent it in a conversation and just added it to fab. It was fabbed loads and shocked me as I've put other pics up that are more risky and it's not happened.

But be warned if you get there you inbox will get hammered. 500 messages in my case.

Couldn’t have said it better! I’ve never asked for fabs, I ignore friend requests unless I’ve spoken with the people previously and feel I actually want them to be a friends and to hell with moving around locations I didn’t even know you could!

It’s pot luck, some days you just take a better pic than the day before - it’s nice to be on there but I don’t strive to be I just like posting pics xx
