You just gotta love this programme, easy viewing, poignant & hilarious.

Just two nice guys enjoying their twilight years after overcoming ill health.

I don't watch tv anymore but when I did I preferred these two than Enfield and Reeves. They were definitely more naturally more funny in my opinion.

I love this programme. Best thing on tv for years… two best mates, fishing and talking about life, great locations and Bobs inability to not fall over

But it defines fishing. Relaxing, frustrating, fun, scenery, wildlife and probably one of the best hobbies to take up if you've had health issues

The Town by The Cross

I fell in love with Bob...... full stop.... but I guess he's heard that a million times over........ lovely human being.

Their relationship is just to die for ..... two silly boys with enough knowledge and little enough ego to know exactly where they are in life.

Read his autobiography. I read it in two days flat, couldn’t put it down.

If you like that, i can definitely recommend The Detectorists on BBC iPlayer- it sort of has the same gentle pace and feel of quality to it

Think there's a new series soon?

Oldham or South Shore

Watching Bob constantly fall over in season one was the cutest thing I have ever seen and became one of life’s little pleasures.
