King's Lynn

After being out of running for over 10 years, with a knee injury. I completed my first half marathon since I was in my twenties. Got a slower time than I hoped for, as my ITB knee pain return at mile 7 and was extremely painful from mile 10. But got a time of 1:56:22 a target to beat in my next half

Congratulations I did my first sub two hour finish a few years ago a 1hour 53, still my PB for a half.

Marshalled a fun run today so feel I’m giving back to the running community.

Thanks and well done to you for marshalling, these events rely on volenteers

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Well done! I hope the pain eases - take care of it.

I don't run (I'm barely walking todaY0 but family and friends entertained the crowds at a half marathon this morning.

Thanks yeah I need to strengthen my gluts before the next one. Just ran out of time as ITB only became an issue again a week ago.

Awesome , you did well to finish.

It’s been about 5 years since my last one , I was always in some kind of injury , but since I stoped running over 10k I’m injury free

Well done Tony As a fellow sufferer myself I can strongly recommend lunges, squats and KT. The tape is great when applied properly

Great work Tony. ITB pain is excruciating when it hits so to run 6 miles with that is amazing! Foam rolling regularly, glute stretches and exercises to strengthen your glutes are the way forwards.
