"Which part are you struggling with? If I was you I'd would just weigh the portions on a weighing scales and then job done really. " The bit I’m struggling with is working out the calories on my plate for the meal. What we eat isn’t bad most of the time and generally fairly carb heavy with things like pasta and sauce, currys, cottage pies etc. There may be the odd meal where it’s chips and some sort of breaded chicken or fish product out of the freezer. | |||

"Is it because you're not doing the cooking or because they're cooked from scratch? It is a bit of a faff to begin with, weighing and recording the numbers, but most people don't tend to eat that many different dishes, so once you've done them it's really easy to log every day. Easier again if a meal is cooked from a recipe." A bit of both.. I cook and so does my other half depending on who is home first. He just wants to gauge worthy how many calories I’m getting a day as he thinks I’m way short of where I should be to have enough energy at the end of the day to come in and have a workout session | |||
