The only real change is larger number of users so same thread topics appear more regularly. The non ‘sexy’ ones tend to be most popular. For instance, who likes oral sex in Blackpool is never getting same reply numbers as what should I name my new cat.

The idea that people are talking about anything different than they used to isn’t correct. That is unless it’s a topical thread. For instance there wasn’t much chat about Covid 19 in 2009
