Just had a delicious sirloin in an Italian restaurant with green peppercorn sauce.

What’s your favourite accompaniment to a nice sizzling steak?

Miller and Carter do a lettuce wedge which sounds so boring but it’s delicious especially the honey mustard and bacon one x

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

Locally in restaurants it is often served as ‘tagliata’, which is sliced into thick strips and served over a bed of rocket, cherry tomato and Parmesan shavings with a sticky balsamic glaze which is delicious

Peppercorn sauce is the best. I do sometimes like the beef dripping sauce or the bordelaise.
