Same here. I like the doing all the food preparations as well, we will have a typical swedish one, with lots of fish and potatoes too, to name some of it

I do enjoy it. I don’t enjoy New Year though and once Boxing Day has gone I tend to dread the build up to New Year.

The turkey is already in the oven, I'm taking no chances with it being undercooked this year

Anyway, I'm focusing on Halloween at the moment

By the time Halloween comes, Christmas will have sold out. They'll be starting valentine's day in the shops. And by Christmas day, Easter eggs will be on the shelves.

We're away in the Caribbean for Christmas, which will be the first time I've been on holiday at this time of year.

I'm really looking forward to the cheeky break and spending some quality downtime with K.

My dress for the Christmas MLS has just arrived too.

The countdown has definitely started.

So so so excited. I'll be in a new country with a very supportive family network so I'm absolutely buzzing for it this year. It's going to be everything I've ever wished for.

I don't think about Christmas until a week after bonfire night. I love the Autumn round here. Wooded walks on fallen leaves, Matlock Illuminations, fireworks and the Goose Fair. Once all that has been enjoyed I can look forward to Christmas.

To be far we have enough in the cupboard from past years and make our own food. As long as can get some fresh face paints & fake blood, he’ll be a happy soul
