Would you travel to meet someone for a social or more?

I personally, if connection is good, would travel the world even if sex wasn’t on the cards

About thirty minutes maybe an hour. We have turned down quite a few men who say they'd travel hours for a social, even offer to stay in a hotel for the weekend. We don't want that pressure

I always say that if I am not prepared to drive for more than an hour, I don't expect others to drive more than an hour to me either.

Unless it's me, I'm totally worth a 2 hour coffee, cake and plant drive

If I borrow Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes, I can be there in less than an hour

As long as they don’t mind me arriving in motorbike gear, an hours travel is fine with me.

Thirty minutes drive isn’t limit. However, I travel with work, so I do sometimes look in advance at places I’m heading to. So I know that may look like I’m planning on travelling hundreds of miles, but even then it’s only 30 mins from where I’ll be staying.

This for me too

I wouldn't travel miles for a social or ask someone else to either.

I travelled to Dublin - 120 miles to Blackpool airport, an hour on the bus into Dublin. Worth every moment!

Ona serious note, when I was working up in Stranraer a few years back, I caught a ferry to spend a weekend with a lovely lady from Belfast. I think I would even have swam there actually

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I met someone on kik that I got on great with, and after about 9 months of talking I flew out to Michigan to spend 5 days together, so that’s the furthest for a first time but then she moved to Arizona so that was a longer trip that I made a few times.

I love travel so if I could make a trip of it, no issue but I would prefer to train or fly if more than a couple hours.

If it’s just for a meal , drinks or sex then probably 2 hours tops.

Can understand you feel that way it’s a shame though. I would travel to London , Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Bristol etc without hesitation and book a hotel because there’s so much to do before and after the meet and make a weekend of it

I think it depends on the person and what day of the week it is. If there is a sleep over.

Either way, I enjoy driving so don't mind too much.

I think what's made us wary is that a few times men have said they'll travel down for the weekend, no pressure etc. Then they start talking about us showing them round or what "we're" all going to do. We're thinking hang on a minute, you might not even like us when you speak to us in person

Two and a half hours apparently

I'd only go that far if it were for someone special, if it was going to make a full daytrip... or both.

So the generalisation is an hours drive there about but like some here I love travelling and if I had a meet I’d make a weekend of it, for potential one day/eve just a shame the speed limit is 70-100
