Columbo! The turn around and "just one more thing".

The bafflement on modern technology.

The Wife that never appears on screen.

The crumpled mac.

The dog in the car.

The request for coffee.

The mistaken identity (They always move the tramp on).

The fact that this is the only detective show where you get to see the actual murder and murderer at the beginning, so we're all waiting to see how he works it all out.

And just one more thing... In every episode, you'll hear the tune "one man and his dog".

Never heard of Vera, so has to be Columbo. Peter Falk is a bit of a legend in my opinion.

There is a clip on YouTube of him making an acceptance speech at an awards ceremony, he has such a dry sense of humour.
