Have you returned to the office yet ??

How long is your commute.

I do 2 days a week in the office. 70 miles each way.

Today took 2 1/4 hours to get home.

17 miles each way

Thankfully I go against the city bound traffic so no more than 30 minutes each way unless there's been a bump on the motorway

Generally decline to price any work that’s more than a 15 mile drive from my house. Hate long commutes and see it as an extension of the working day

Been back since February. It was 60 miles but since I moved, it's only 12 which is so much better

Unfortunately so, it's only about an hour door to door

Although I used to have a 2.5 HR commute each way (only for about 4 mths)

I changed jobs earlier this year and am now on a permanent home working contract. I have to go into the office occasionally for meetings, which is over 100 miles away, but it makes a nice change. I also have to meet with clients, which is a pain in the arse when it's central London, but I get to take them to nice restaurants and expense it back to work

I've only just started going back into the office. But usually it's not long about a 40 minute commute each way.

Been WFH since June last year, and been told only need to go back to the office if I want to. Which I don't!

So that's 90 minutes I get back every day, plus £60+ per week saved in petrol costs. Happy days!

I'm back to my pre-pandemic "reasonably adjusted" pattern of 3 days in college, 2 from home. It's 16 miles each way, anything from 40mins to 2hrs +. Depends on the time of day and the state of the NW motorway network......

I'm the opposite, was cashing it in at 45p a mile on my long commute, going to miss the extra cash

I have 40 minutes commute each way. I have an option to wfh still. But I prefer going to office. I feel more productive working in office and hence my work life balance is back to normal too. I read a book during commute. So I don't mind that either.

Depends on the day- today it was 3 1/2 hours, next week it’s about 4....sometimes I’m actually local and can be there in 22 minutes if I don’t get stuck behind a ‘driving Miss Daisy’ or a tractor

I was working from home for several months but this contract involves going into the office. Its only 37 miles (one way) but the M6 can be a nightmare at times. Took me nearly 2.5 hours to get home one night.

Solihull and Brentwood

Going to be soon a round trip of 300 miles a week, roughly.

Will be lodging down in Brentford. Working 12 hour days, to cram 40 hours, into 4 and half days.

Will set of on Sunday afternoon and return late Thursday evening. Thinking Seriously though, of using the train.

Anything from 15 mins to and hour n half depending on buses and traffic. It's only 3 miles away but the bus doesn't show up half the time so I leave an hour early and even then I end up getting a taxi sometimes or I'd be late.

I've gone into work all through pandemic, I changed jobs a couple of months ago and I can walk to and from in half an hour.

So much better, its a pleasure to walk home even after a long night shift.

That’s tough…. I used to do nottingham to Cambridge, 200 mile round trip, going was fine 88mins , coming home could be 2-3 hours. Did about 100 audio books a year though

Now I tend to work for companies in London or Dubai and just negotiate work from home 90%, my current contract only says 50% but I just refuse to go in ,

Also watch out for the roller skates: they lurk in the most unexpected places (usually accompanied by banana skins)

I've never stopped working in the office. Thankfully it's only a 10 minute blast down a great country road to the office. I can even pop home in my lunch hour if I fancy it.

People at work joke that I travel across 3 counties to get to work as most of them live within 15 mins

It would be 15 mins if I could go straight there. The school drop off makes it an hour, sadly.
