Does anyone describe themselves as a "bully"? If so, why?

I've seen it quite a lot on here and it always makes me feel really intimidated. I like it a bit rougher than the next person, but that word makes me feel uneasy for some reason. From anyone who likes it - what's the appeal?

I’ve not heard the term bedroom bully before. I’m not sure I’m a fan as bully can imply a loss of control.

It doesn't exactly sound positive...

I imagine the same types describe themselves as Doms

I thought it might be someone who nicks all the duvet but I'm probably way out.

I've never heard of Bully as a term. "Bull" is a term people use in connection with cuckold scenarios. Maybe these guys are getting confused with that??

Bedroom Bully is a disturbingly unpleasant term, in my opinion, and conveys an image of coercive control, which is now illegal in Northern Ireland.

I've never heard anyone refer to themselves as a bully on here before but I'd avoid anyone that used the term personally.

I would avoid anyone using that word. Bullying is not nice, and conveys a very different image to dominance.

I’ve not heard that term before but if I came across someone who has that in their profile I would stay clear of them.

Not heard that term before and just seems to conjure up thoughts of someone doing something against their will

I can’t image that would be attractive to many women on here. They want reassurance they’ll be safe with the stranger they’re meeting, not bullied, seems the wrong choice of words to me.

Surprised to see so many people that have never come across it on here. I tend to notice it a lot more on younger guys' profiles, so it might be the demographics we're looking at?

It’s not what you do, it’s the way it’s done. I can be thrown around, slapped, ch*k*d, humiliated, but it’s consensual and I know he always has my best interest foremost in his mind.

This is not what comes to mind with the term bully.

I can't say that it sounds like someone who would endear themselves to me, Urban Dictionary has this definition of it:

"Bedroom Bully

A man who controls and dominates the bedroom, he can be aggressive and forceful during sexual activity! Serve you pain and pleasure while making you wet enjoying the pleasure of pleasuring. He has far and few limits with the attitude of “just do what daddy say”!"

Sounds pretty horrific.

Rough and ready hard n slow.

Some words used, sound harsher than the Actual actions and practise..

I've not come across it but bully to me comes across as without consent. As a bully doesn't ask before they bully their victim. I would be uncomfortable with someone who would use this term.

As I understand it, it means exactly that: in all honesty, it sounds like someone who'd end up with a Police report.
