I was reading quite young and my dad was also a bookworm so took me to the library twice a week to replenish my books, so I can't say that I had a favourite. I liked Cinderella, the Princess and the Pea, Snow White and Rose Red, Sleeping Beauty, girly books with pictures of beautiful princesses. Later I loved Enid Blyton, the boarding school books, Mallory Towers etc, and the Mystery books were amongst my faves.

Toys were dolls, tiny Tears my favourite.

TV programmes were Playschool, Mary Mungo and Midge, Andy Pandy, Bagpuss and Mr Benn
