"I find racism offensive. I find people who have no manners and are rude for no reason offensive. " I find the word 'rude' comical. I don't know why exactly. I think it's because it's a funny little word that someone uses to label those that have affronted their sensibilities. Rudeness is highly subjective....... Just because one person thinks they've been treated 'rudely' doesn't mean the person that they accuse is rude. I find matters of intangible nuance such as rudeness a source of amusement. You find 'rude for no reason' offensive...... Does that mean if someone is 'rude' to you for a reason that it's okay ..... that's not offensive ? ( serious Q )

"Are we to exist as kind of neutral beings calmly taking everything in our stride? Lots of people seem to think so. " Lol. "My bar is really high... I generally accept that other people don't know me, understand my values or principles. So why would I give weight to their aspersions ? You can't control what someone else says /thinks or how they react, but you can definitely control your own reactions and be accountable for what you say and do If we all strove to be better people, looking in the mirror and applying the same standards we hold others to, to ourselves, I'm sure the vast majority of us would live in much greater harmony" I think this is partly my reason for being offended for other people’s actions towards others. I have set my own bar extremely high and I’m very aware of how I treat and speak to other people

Why become that which you profess to dislike ? ( the you n me is not you n me ...... it's anyone ) " I’m not a rude person but if I have established that someone has been unnecessarily rude to me, I will give them similar energy. Like when an older male was unnecessarily hostile and rude to me because he thought I had parked in a Blue Badge spot for the fun of it and decided to tell me how people like me are disgusting and there’s plenty of “normal spaces” left why don’t I use that, not realising I was waiting for my Nan who had an appointment and my mom had gone in with her, I hadn’t put up the Blue Badge yet, but I was sure to get it out to show him. I proceeded to be equally as rude back and told him next time he should mind his own business to save himself the embarrassment. I think the above is a valid reason.
