I usually wait for the .1 release so others can encounter the teething problems first

The placing of the address bar is quite smart and turning convention on its head. Why does it have to be at the top anyway? As phone screens are getting larger and we generally hold the phone towards the bottom (to work the keyboard), it's a bit of a stretch for our thumbs to tap the address bar at the top, whereas when it's at the bottom it's easy and you don't need to use the accessibility feature to shift the screen down temporarily.

Updated, and kind of regret it. Safari is now pants, and phone a tad slower

On a mooch

Update hasn’t come through as yet, but if the address bar has moved to the bottom, will be easier to use as will be in thumb reach.

by the big field

I always wait for the fanboys to tear it to shreds before I do it.

Safari being unusable just brings it line with the desktop version of the last decade pretty much, first thing I downloaded with safari (after my antivirus, natch) was Chrome, Firefox and opera

I haven't updated to it yet, but I'll likely wait until the .1 or .2 release so as to iron out any bugs.

Updated today. You can flip the address bar back to the top in safari. I only use safari for fab and the odd bit of porn

Chrome for everything else.

Only issue I have is it’s telling me my iPhone is almost out of storage. It’s not. And when I click into it, it won’t leave me. So now I’ve the red icon over settings which is melting my head I can’t get rid of it
