It's far too early, but having said that I am going to start Christmas shopping soon.

We have an extremely busy late November/December so we need all Christmas presents bought and wrapped by mid November.

In my happy place

Its because there is a disruption to food production such as meat and imports of goods

Theyve gone in early.

I saw a Christmas ad on the telly yesterday. I nearly launched a heavy object at it. The only thing that stopped me was my bad back

Somewhere

It’s been two years since I had a good mince pie and that was the last time I was in Manchester…

It’s so that people can panic buy already, to fit in with the predicted shortages, and then when there aren’t any we can all buy even more, so the businesses can make up for last years losses

Somewhere near here

Every year I’m surprised that I’m surprised there’s Christmas stuff in shops already. I really dislike Christmas and if it wasn’t for my children I wouldn’t celebrate it. It makes me sad and anxious, I would prefer to avoid it. The lead up with all this “buy me buy me” really doesn’t help, horribly materialistic

It is far too soon, but I always think in September I will get organised for christmas but before I know it it's christmas eve and the shops are shutting at 4.

Well the news is already saying Christmas is DOOMED!

CO2 shortfall so can’t stun and package the turkeys, pig in blankets etc, lack of abattoir workers post-brexit so backlog of animals stuck at the farms and no HGV drivers to delivery all the food.

*** please take the above with a pinch of salt, the news is just scaremongering as usual ***

Can't wait. I seen the mince pies but haven't had one yet. Will wait til it feels more Christmassy to indulge.

I am gonna try to get organised early this year though.

It's September, Christmas stuff appears August onwards every year. So whether it's too early or not it's not going to change. I quite like it, it's gives me a good chance to see what's about in a less rushed way.

Nope, it's not too early. It's less than 100 days away.

I loveeee this time of year so much. I find the build up begins for me now.

Never like to see it too early as summer ending is depressing enough without seeing them but maybe can be excused this year with christmas being so shit with covid last year nowt better than finishing last job of year then getting smashed with mates in the pubs festive atmosphere everyone in good fettle ect none of that last year hopefully better this year

I think it's great. Love Xmas. Spend way too much, especially on gifts for the dogs.
