Rejected because you got a beard

Have you ever been rejected on here because you have got a beard? I told someone that I could easily shave my beard off it's not a problem it will grow back in a week. This isn't a moan and find it funny though. :D if you didn't have a beard you would be sexy but because you've got a beard you're ugly?

Perhaps they didn't want to meet you full stop and it was just easier for them to say they prefer no beards than to say they didn't want to meet you?

It’s all about preferences, I’ve been turned down cos I don’t have a hairy chest. It is what it is.

I’ve turned women down because they’re not what I’m looking for, simples, get over it

Why would you want to change something you obviously like about yourself in order to potentially raise your appeal for some random woman you don't know?

You realise none of us has universal appeal right?

Personally, I'd spend time concentrating on people looking for me rather than waste a nanosecond on those not: but that's me.

No but we have been rejected because I don't have a beard.

Also been rejected because I have less hair on my head than they would have liked and on one occasion because I don't have tattoos.

Also those exact reasons have meant we have meet other couples.

It is nice that everybody is different if everybody was the same the world would be a very boring place.

You’ll have your own preferences as to what you want someone to look like. How rigid that remains is down to you.

We all have preferences.

I do think there should be more positivity in the world that we live in there are too many people out there that one to judge and it's understandable everyone's got their own opinion but sometimes it can cause offence why would anyone say if you wasn't fat you would look pretty it's like you are who you are you are what you are if you don't like it simple just go and do one you don't need to go and hurt someone's feelings

I would reject most with a beard with a few depends.......

1. It's long and unkempt.

2. I don't like the features behind it.

3. It looks like it would be coarse and scratchy.

I have no idea of what someone would look like without a beard so it's logical that I have to fancy them WITH a beard and if the beard is unattractive then so be it.

I have seen great bodies and what looks like the good hair and eyes of a good looking man but his beard is just not good. .....

I think bad hair is easier to overlook than a bad beard.

Each to their own, everyone has their own personal preferences.. I used to be clean shaven then grew a normal tidy short beard, it went grey but I get told that I kinda suit the salt and pepper, greying beard so just stuck with it. Have shaved it off again in the past but hardly recognise myself. But yes everyone has their own likes and dislikes and thats what makes us all unique.

I wouldn't dream of shaving my beard just to try and get a meet personally. It's a part of me look i.e. me so its a take it or leave it situation, plus K loves it.

I also trim it to a number 3 anyway so it kept short and tidy especially for meets / club night.

I adore beards but I agree. I think it’s awful when women ask men to remove them before a meet. I wouldn't ever meet a man who told me to shave my pubes or trim my hair before we met.

If you can't accept someone with a beard then I don't really think you deserve them without it to be honest. But I think most men would remove it for the sake of a shag.

Interesting topic...

I have trimmed mine back to stubble or somewhere close to it before, on the basis that it was a fair compromise. The lady in question informed me that longer facial hair would irritate her skin. I told her that was unfortunate but I wasn't prepared to shave it completely. So I offered to trim it back a little more than usual to save irritation but meant we could still go ahead...

It's all about finding a compromise with people and if you can't, then maybe you're just not compatible. I guess I got lucky that time maybe

We all have ‘things’ we’re not attracted to, I just try and see it from the point of view of others, not just my own.

Different strokes for different folks the Americans say. I’m pleased everyone has different tastes.

It is what it is. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Lots of people also only ask for vwe or gym fit. Its simple, if they have something in their profile that you don't match up to then don't message them. It saves wasting both yours and their time.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I'm either in a state of stuble or beard. The longest I've had a beard on here is a little over a month.

Sometimes my beard gets a little itchy & it drives me frigging nuts! So I shave it off!

If I was meeting someone then I'd shave unless it said in their profile they liked a bearded guy or guy with stubble.

Same goes for my hairy chest too! No biggie whether I do or don't....

Would any of the 'rejected' like to tell me I can't order the dishes I fancy in a restaurant or the clothes I like to wear? Being 'rejected' on a site like this isn't a slur against character or a value judgement on a person, it's just a personal choice and it's only part of the decision making process.

We've been here a long time and some guys definitely take rejection (for whatever reason) like a slur on them. Some of them even get abusive. It shouldn't like that but it is.

When I say ‘rejected’ I just mean I didn’t make their selection process or that’s not their thing. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Everyone has there preferences.

I stick to this too. In fact when a woman / couple who have a rule about anything I don’t fit the description for but still message me, I just reply telling them I’m not their type. I don’t even bother sending photos. There’s just no point.

I never had a full set to get rejected, but back in the days when I had the Tom Selleck/Burt Reynolds moustache, as was the fashion back then, if I got any adverse comments, I simply told them it's a womb groom, and that I was cultivating on my face what grows wild on my arse.

Some women like beards. Some don't. Making out it makes you "ugly" is a stretch at best, ridiculous at worst. My Mrs hates them. Does growing a beard make me ugly to her? Absolutely not. Does it make her face come out in a rash when I smooch her? Absolutely, hence the hate.

Stop worrying about why someone said no and deal with it. You cant please everyone so don't try.

I prefer non beard, especially when it comes to females.

I prefer smooth all over too, but in a club environment I can be known to let the beard thing pass, even on females.

I'm curious: why would you, some random woman on a sex site, ask someone to adjust their appearance for you?

.

I would probably turn someone down if they didn't have some kind of facial hair as I 99 per cent of the time find clean shaven unattractive. Everyone likes different things. There is no way on earth I would ask someone to grow one though, and I would probably lose a little respect of them if they offered.

I had an opening introductory message once from a couple I had never spoken to before or even seen their profile.

They had close to 100 verifications and they told me I had to lose the beard or i wouldn't be meeting them.

So many entitled assumptions in that one message. I'm sure they had a positive response from others.

On this website you can be so prescriptive, beyond silly, about what you're looking for and expect from people!! From wanting to meet just one dude to a 12 man strong tag team.....from a requirement to give her a good seeing to and make her orgasm 2.5 times (verified not just at your word you can do this) to being suspended from a ceiling with your 12.5 inch xxl cock uncut (less than 12.5 =rejection)swinging about.....its a lass telling you she wants clean shaven over a beard that your bemused by as to why she wasn't keen on you, even with the ugly line from her this should hardly have raised an eyebrow. Id like to think most men can deal with such frivolous blah when told 'not for me, sorry 'but we are starting to look more like cuckold husbands everyday even if it's not one of our 'likes'
