We're runners and get mightily pissed off by groups of people walking spread across the entire width of the path and despite seeing you approach make absolutely no effort to make space for you. "Families who walk across the entire pavement, dawdling Totes!! People who leisurely walk at a glacial pace while taking lots space or are just bumbling about…People also who don’t know the escalator rule in London. ARGHHH… This..c*#nts Not always and I would say the same for the people that feel they have a right to walk up an escalator when the stairs are right next to it! The next tube will be in 3 minutes so why the rush. " But u go faster if u dash up the escalators and it feels less of a hassle

ARGHHH… There's escalator rules in London. they are so spoilt, us up north still have to use things called stairs. Oh I so wish we had an escalator to make a rule about Hahah there’s only one rule, stand on the right side, and let people pass. Stay on ur lane peeps, girl in a rush coming through " That's where it all went wrong..... Is it the 'right side' or the 'left side' or the 'right side' or the 'wrong side'....?? ARGHHH.... We drive on the left in the UK (we'll, most of us do) so should always keep left unless overtaking, whether standing, walking, cycling, etc. Oh, for a simple life....

"Joggers on a path, getting annoyed with you for walking along. Pavement's big enough for both of us, but I'm supposed to cower at the side of the path? We're runners and get mightily pissed off by groups of people walking spread across the entire width of the path and despite seeing you approach make absolutely no effort to make space for you. Her ladyship tends to be verbal in her disapproval, I tend to make as much adjustment as I can though unlike her I refuse to run through nettles or brambles. After that its down to them to choose between a tiny bit of courtesy and manners or colliding with 87kg moving at 3m/s. It's suprising how many complain about that when all they needed to do was show a bit of consideration and understand that its a shared space. Mr I do try moving aside, but when you get groups of joggers acting as though I have to move, I stand my ground. just walk on the side and if people who are moving quicker than you want to pass there’s room there… wether they are runners, cyclists or faster walkers … or stand there and get a face full of my sweat as I run past Or you could try and be a little bit more considerate and if you are moving faster than the people on the pavement go round them! No I like my idea best… go slow, walk on the side … simple So elderly people and the disabled should move out of your way for your convenience! I don't think so sunshine. " It’s akin to driving in the middle lane when you should be in the inside lane… you are welcome… further guidance on these matters is available

Or you could follow your own advice and go in the fast lane, for example the road. You are welcome.

" Absolutely, I think you've hit the nail on the head, it's not runners or walkers or cyclists, it is people who are inconsiderate of everyone else. Being in a group tends to exaggerate this behavoir for some reason, it's as though people abdicate their personal responsibility and hand it to the group as a whole not realising that there isn't actually a brain controlling the group. Funny things people. Mr

"What makes my piss boil is the lack of mask wearing in Supermarkets. Nearly threw a punch at someone on Tuesday who had the audacity telling me to take it off as we don't "have" to wear them anymore. #Twat" But this is indicative of society as a whole, lack of any kind of social conscience or responsibility. We social distance, wash, sanitise, wear masks in all the appropriate places, pubs, restaurants, if we go to the loo put masks on. Guess what, we are covid positve, all because someone obviously didn't give a shit about anyo e else. Thats the society we live in today

Infact I might be a wee devil and go back one.... living the escalator dream. " Going back a step...Brilliant! I'd forgotten all about that. I did that once with a past girlfriend, when we went to see her old Uni mates in Cardiff. I'd gone back about 6 or 8 steps in a shopping centre, and it took her a few moments to realise, until she looked behind her and saw me giggling away. I was in a slightly mischievous mood after a couple of "Babychams" in the afternoon! It was getting close to Christmas, so ToysRUs was still open as we left another pub later that evening, so I started setting off all the 'Bananas in Pyjamas' in their boxes! I kept asking the store staff if Geoffrey was about....! Oh such innocent times....
