There’s only so many times you can flirt with that trapdoor before you drop. One potential glimmer of hope is that there are going to be teams worse than Everton this season, Luton and Sheffield look nailed on for relegation. " City will win it again, which is incredibly boring. Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs will be fighting for 2nd and 3rd so after that with luck Villa and Newcastle will be in the mix. There never has been and there never will be. I’m still in dreamland, at first I thought it would be the Villa under the cosh and hanging on to secure three points but no we completely outplayed them and it was a joy to see. If we can beat Arsenal on Saturday then we are in the mix for a top four finish. I don’t think Villa will finish top of the league, that will be between Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City - despite their recent form - but beyond that Villa can finish in a CL spot. I’m still buzzing and love it when your team make you as happy as a kid on Christmas morning. In Unai we trust. | |||
