And did you like it? Are you better or happier for it?

Ive tried a few new things, some out of necessity, such as, learning to tile a stone staircase as I’m slowly renovating an old house. Next new job is demolishing a non load bearing internal cement block wall and moving all the electrics in it to elsewhere in the room.

More for fun, I’m trying more baking, my read is getting ok, but my flour tortillas are rubbish. I just made a nice plum and blackberry pie with local foraged fruits but my whole meal pastry needs work, and I can knock up a great blueberry lemon drizzle.

The last week has just been full of firsts... last count double figures - my eyes have been opened daily!
