I know what it's like! It's okay to have bad days bless you. Do always be honest and if you can't talk to people close to you always reach out.

It’s good that you spoken up, If anyone reads this and needs someone to chat to, just drop me a message and I’ll get back to you, my ex wife at one stage has 4 mental health conditions which I helped her through so I’m always available for those who are suffering

Aww bless you! Well don't ever feel bad for having a bad day. I seem to have more bad days than good the last year or so! But it's easier to put a mask on at times, Well my best friend has terminal cancer. So since last year summertime been stressful and was given a year last October, So feel anxious with every month that passes by. Well good for you for reaching out and people do care even if it feels like they don't at times.

Well done to you for being that brave. I think half the battle is saying it.

I find the more I hold it in the more it chews me up inside. Just saying the words is like a little weight had been lifted. Of course I'm only talking from my own personal experience.

Today might not be a good day, in fact nor might be tomorrow but just remember those days will pass and there will be good ones on their way. You've had good days before and soon you will again soon.

Hold in there OP and I'm always happy to chat if you would like. Jenny xxx

I was getting better with my depression and anxiety.

Had a fantastic time at a wedding on Saturday.

Then the bomb shell of a best friend only having months to live really fucked me over!

One day at a time back to the beginning.

Couldn’t agree more - talking is the best therapy!! The old saying of a problem shared is a problem halved…. Maybe not halved but definitely a bit smaller.

Hugs to you man, I know the feeling. I suffer with mental health problems and have had a really bad time of it lately, only just coming out of it now.

Lots of virtual hugs to yourself and everyone else who deals with this stuff, it's not easy one bit

Giving you a big virtual hug and hope you feel better soon enough. I suffer from depression too, it got worse after I lost my wife a few years back. Whenever I’m having a bad bout I always remind myself of a quote I was taught.

“When you’re going through hell, keep going”

Honestly overwhelmed with all your nice comments ! I don’t talk about it very often. And for me to bring it up on a sex site I never thought I would.

Today has been a better day still not rite still feeling very sad but knowing I can reach out to you all has really helped me.

Once again thank you so much

I suffer too. I’ve just recently stopped taking antidepressants that I had been on for two years. Medication isn’t for everyone but it worked for me but no body told me I’d have withdrawals which were dizziness…it was like bro on a roundabout for 3 weeks…

I hope you have a better day today

Hope you are feeling a little more positive OP.

This is something I have realised I need help for and finally broke last week and rang the Dr who tried to prescribe tablets, I refused that but on the waiting list for counselling but it will be a long wait.

I think mine is partly going through menopause and being in a toxic work environment is not helping. I have two job interviews tomorrow so hopefully.

I hope it passes, it is frustrating and debilitating

I just have this constant feeling lately of not fitting in anywhere I go whether it's work, out with family/friends it just feels edgy. It really is horrible

Hope you are well OP

Finally bit the bullet and got a friend in the trade to look around my place and give me the truth about the state of it. Staring at the same issues had me convinced I had serious issues with maintenance but thankfully all just normal wear and tear and remedial. Partly makes me wish had got someone to look sooner but at least I know now. Weight off mind.

Now looking forward to seeing family for the first time since before the pandemic. We may not always have great relationships but appreciate the fact we still talk.

Good luck with the interviews. Taking meds is worth thinking about, they can take the edge off
