Feeling rather pleased with myself

I've always been a dab hand at diy but i've surpassed even my own expectations.

I've just converted our outbuilding which used the have a toilet in it to a sauna. It comfortably sits two and powered by a 3.6kW heater (the kind you can pour water on) reaches 90°c. It's fully insulated and clad in aspen which smells divine and has a full size glass door and a tiny double glazed window.

Not only that but the real coup de gras is a cold water rainfall shower just outside the door courtesy of an 8 inch copper shower head.

What have you done recently that's prompted you to give yourself a pat on the back?

Great job! Now I'm jealous

Managed to shift 1.5st over the course of a month and a half, so feeling pretty pleased with myself, and noticed i'm sleeping much better.

There's only room for two on the bench so it would have to be pretty exclusive.

Sounds fantastic .. there used to be a sauna with a wood burner in the corner at a club I used to go to....had to make sure you didn't burn your legs on it

I first considered a woodburner but they're just far to much hassle. Also it turns out the flue would have been too close to the house.
