"I have left a few times without making a song and dance about it, but it doesn't make me any less genuine. Sometimes it's easier to slip off quietly then explain to people. Revolving door of fab I guess." Yes but then say if you had some sort of good connection with somebody, and then u decide u want to disappear (this can be on any app btw online this is general) it is kinda a bit like.. well u are an online person to me, so it doesn’t matter if I tell u that I’m gonna be gone forever because u are just online (or just a set of pics to me) I don’t know I find its kinda “sad”

"I've found it kind of sad before. Especially if you have no other way of contacting them - it says that you're not that important, invalidates things that might have been said before. It does make me feel a bit sad in a selfish way - I can understand and respect why people leave but it doesn't mean it's a bit cold. I don't know. I guess because I like to think I build a decent rapport/friendship and it's a stark, harsh reality that the other person doesn't quite see you like that. (It's happened twice )" I was trying to pvt message you lovely but I can’t seem to as I’m outside ur age range xx

"I understand your thoughts. There was a time when people would do leaving threads to collect information from friends and to say goodbye, then people started slating others as dramatic and attention seeking for doing it, so it’s stopped. Which is sad. To my mind, people leave for lots of reasons, sometimes they just want to cut all ties, irrespective of connections or rapport. As sad as that may be, it’s the nature of the site. I try not to forget that there is a complex human behind the words on the screen, that we’re all subject to the same human frailties and as in life, relationships can change quickly. It is sad when people leave, it leaves a hole but such is the nature of life. It’s often not a judgement on you or your connection but about them and their needs" Of course, I totally understand what you mean, and I know it’s mostly about them and what they need in the moment but I can’t help but feel that it does leave a little hole behind and I guess sometimes people care, despite some think we don’t or that we are that generation where everyone moves at 500mph so it should be okay. I don’t know, I’m a girl that feels too much sometimes.. hey ho, to all those who have gone, I hope they will be happy xx x
