Not one time, not even once did I make plans to meet a guy who said his profile was fake and that he never turns up for meets. Made plans with loads of "genuine" guy though and learned my fab lessons the hard way ;-p

I agree with a number of the comments before

1- guys far outnumber girls and wanting couples

2- many guys are not very eloquent on here and it seems quite basic

3 - many have no real experience and can’t show “ history”

4- some are just “ viewing” and no intent to meet

Add all that and it means we stand a chance — even us old real guys

People only ruin it for themselves. If you have to remind people that you are genuine, nice or a gent it usually means your actions say otherwise or you aren't creating the impression you think you are.

That is very true but sending copy and pasted messages to everyone and straight uo friend requests doesn't scream genuine to me, we have met so many decent single guys on here but we all know yous get tarred with the same brush. If you send a genuine one of message then I'll reply if not ill simply read and not reply, a little effort really goes a long way here x
