Replacement word for ‘fun’….

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Well what are you saying instead?

The word ‘fun’ is really starting to give me the ick, akin to people getting miffed by moist, hun and hubby. (Yes they’re just words, get over it ay?)

Anywho to the OP: word fun is banned, what are your substitutions?

Yeh we get what you're saying. The amount of profiles that just say stuff like "naughty fun guy looking for naughty fun" and all that. What do they mean? Bunking off school? Shoplifting pick and mix? Be more specific!

Do you mean as a euphemism for sex op?

If so - yes ‘fun’ can be somewhat overused on here.

However - most people I know tend to use the term ‘play’ - which is similarly overused.

Maybe they feel uncomfortable using the more direct terminology for doing what many of us actually do - ie fucking virtual strangers?

Saying‘ I had fun’ or ‘I played with others’ probably sounds less crude - but it amounts to the same thing!

It's like 'I'm a fun guy looking for fun'. If fun is the replacement word for sex, that translates into 'I'm a sex guy looking for sex'. Doesn't really work

I’d rather be asked if I’d like to fuck than if I want to “play”. Kids play, adults fuck. Just my opinion and I’m sure thousands disagree with me bit I just find it a bit cringe

Ah that's fair enough. If it was worded that way, I think I'd be cringe too. I cringe at being called a playmate. I will go for one of the lovely alternatives suggested on this thread!
