Still practicing how to use it (mostly the controls)

But still happy how it turned out and grateful the weather was good to up in Edinburgh.. Edited the video with some music and pretty pleased with the result.

Let me know what you think

Yep.

You need to get a license now plus register your drone, a part of which drums into you that you can't fly over populated areas.

There are cases of people being prosecuted for doing this with their Youtube films used as evidence against them.

There is a guy on youtube who flys over the town and I spoke with him about it before I went.

There are plenty and I'd imagine most get away with it. But a few don't.

There are new laws for flying drones up until late last year there was no registration for spark, dji mini and mini 2 with them being under 250 gram as they are classed as toys.

Then they added that we have to do the basic £9 registration because it has a camera.

You can fly over people in parks but still can't fly over crowds (concert or mass gatherings) and in and around airports.. Buildings you can fly closer to then other drone's.. The other thing is that you got to fly within 120m as with the castle i didn't know and I am sure I am not the first or last person to get carried away flying around... I am still learning.

It is fun the only thing I don't like is having people come up to me asking about it which will put me off or fear of theft (especially in derby)

I know London is pretty much a no go so I won't take it there.
