Do you prefer to meet local people - those in your city/borough/county or do you prefer to meet those further away - get a hotel, do a road trip, travel at least 90mins plus away from home?

Guess it depends if family/wives/kids are in the vicinity.

For ease on a month by month basis we stick to meets within an hour of where we live.

For friends that we really like we are prepared to travel any distance.

Finally we have been known to do the odd road trip where we do have the odd meet or attend a club.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I prefer to meet people out of town. Because very small town.

And I'm happy with a road trip, I genuinely enjoy them. Hotels are awesome for so many reasons, not least I don't have to wash the bedding!

I like local area but avoid same area. I don’t want to bump into them all at the Library.

Yes, I don't want them seeing that I've borrowed Dogging for Dummies yet again.

I would love to meet people local to me. Since that largely doesn't happen, pre-pandemic I used to travel a lot. I'd routinely make five-hour round trips for meets, and one occasion made an eight-hour round trip. Gotta go where the people want me.

Most definitely not local, the potential for drama is higher.

I don't mind travel. Local can be awkward.

Local would be great. Easy for spontaneous ‘Come over. I want you’ meets.

Finedon ,

I am happy with local meets of up to 20 miles radius from my home.

Had a message yesterday from a lady in the North of Scotland, 573 miles each way, 10hrs driving acccording to Google, think I will pass on that one.

I’ve usually tried to avoid local but to be honest it’s never been an issue in the past.

I don’t have a problem with travel and road trips are fun.

Ultimately it’s the person that I make a connection with that is important, not convenience or proximity that dictates meeting

Local would be great, but everyone within 10 miles knows I’m a twat. Those further afield have yet to discover it
