Central

He has atrocious morals, regardless of whether he has been guilty of these crimes, over an extended period. Certainly stupid as well as his suspect taste in friends and private life. I think he's not really shown anything that suggests much other than investment in association with people who were persistently guilty of those crimes whilst with them.

I think Prince Andrew is a ghastly person - a cosseted, over-privelaged, corrupt, bullying liar - and I see nothing about him that suggests he's anything other than a predatory paedophile, especially in light of his increasingly evasive behaviour... and that's discounting that transparently fucked up gaslighting interview.

But that's just my opinion and I understand I'm not in full possession of the relevant facts in the case against him, in which he has to be afforded a presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

Nevertheless, what really stands out and disgusts me is the way our establishment is, in effect, pulling back on the reins of those seeking to hold him to account and test his guilt or innocence. Any other person facing this kind of prosecution would have had documents served, been summoned and extradition procedures set underway long ago - especially given the additional existing requests by the FBI. You just have to look at the treatment of Julian Assange (whom I also find distasteful) to see that - compare and contrast... it's a very revealing and instructive difference given the similarity of the cases (or at least on the face of it).

Consider that the police officers currently protecting Prince Andrew at Balmoral, shielding him from prosecution by refusing to confirm or deny his receipt of legal papers served (despite that the Home Secretary can order them to say), wear the same uniform and took the same vowes as those who waited and waited to grab Assange from the Ecuadorian embassy. I suppose the only difference is those shielding Andrew are royal protection officers... hardly unblemished when it comes to the sexual assault of young women I might add.

Frankly, anyone not outraged by this disparity needs to wake the fuck up.

So they needed that twat to make Epstein look guilty ?

Think they had that boxed off without coming after this sad act

And theyvNeed to get him to court before he can be found innocent and that’s seriously unlikely

There's no doubt the current extradition treaty with the US sucks - it should be completely reciprocal, which it very much isn't.

Labelling anyone who isn’t a fan of Andrew as a royal “hater” is a bit of a cop-out. I’m sure there are plenty of people who are supporters of the royal family in general but don’t think much of Andrew after decades of bad press.

Certainly guilty of having questionable judgement in his choice of friends.

My gut feel is that he's actually guilty of a number of things but it's going to be very difficult to prove after all this time if it comes down to one person's word against the other.

However if some real show stopping evidence emerges.....

I have no idea. Lots of versions of events fit with what I know.... He could be fully aware, or just a foolish man caught in the middle of a shit storm. He could have been willing from tej start or caught on a slippery slope.

Either which way he's likely to be trial by media and so is fucked. Whatever comes in the court case, there will be some mud that rightfully sticks (given the wider context). But also i suspect other mud that sticks rightly or wrongly.

And given the sentences etc involved, even if I were innocent, I'd probably look at all loop holes to prevent this going to court.

On this I have to say if he didn’t know what was going on he’s an idiot (yes I know he really is but you get my point).

Welter he did or didn’t only the people there know what really went on.

As for the picture the girl does not seem under any duress quite the opposite to be fair.

As for the yanks you cannot have your cake and eat it. If you want him to stand trial then send the woman who mowed the kid down to face trial here.

But the big question should be who was in pizza express to verify his account?

Personally I’d like to think he wouldn’t have embarrassed his family and the country but the toffs have rules of there own, just look at the cunt in number 10.

Welter he did or didn’t only the people there know what really went on.

*** Women in abusive relationships can be very skilled at smiling on the outside to avoid abuse behind closed doors. Her smile proves absolutely nothing."

100% agree with this. It's how abusers get away with things "look, she's not complaining, she's actually enjoying it"

Don't know whether he is guilty or not either, hate making presumptions on people I don't know on what I've read or seen in media.

The only thing I am glad to see is, that even the elite, whether they be movie moguls or even the son of the Queen of England, can be held to account for alleged criminal behaviour. Where as in years gone by this would have been covered up by money or power.

Also the people talking about the girls being a prostitute. Were they not vulnerable victims from difficult backgrounds who were manipulated and groomed by a wealthy evil individual, just like the grooming gangs in the uk.

As for the pictures of the girl not looking terrified and looking happy. They could have been ploughed with. mood altering chemicals before party's by Epstien or Maxwell.

It was a question I'm asking, if that was read.....

According to the victim she was manipulated to meet the royal on a few occasions and threatened by the manipulator (not the royal) if she ever thought of leaving and reporting. The royal in my opinion, was a puppet like many others in power at the time.

How 'grown' men - if they are innocent fall for this type of manipulation, when they're fully aware the ages of these young ladies.....I mean all that education and still thick to make the wrong 'innocent' choices ...

Sorry I was looking at a broader picture, rather than just the royal meeting 3/4 times....

In the end royals and political figures tend to have diary managers who schedule their days for them.

The lady in question will have had to go through immigration to enter the country.

So there will be evidence as to whether they could have met. If any of that evidence leans towards them not having met then the case will get thrown out.

If the evidence says they could of met then it will become he said she said.

I have no idea what he knew (no one does) but I assume any trial will draw out what evidence proves or invalidates any allegation.

Its easy to assume guilt as he is not likable, but proving guilt is another matter.

I don't think you can have guilt by association.

If you go to a swingers club and later find out some scumbag had taken underage girls, should you also be guilty if you spoke to one.

If he is guilty that is fine but not guilty by association.

One of the great misunderstandings of the legal system is that people think things have to be proved absolutely. Outside of clearcut legal points, at the end of the day, the judge or jury make a decision on balance, _ased on what they believe is the version of events that is most plausible. Bit things do not have to be “proved “ 100 percent

Definitely and I will not say whether he is guilty or not because I do not know and if credible evidence comes to light its a different story. I just think potentially a family is getting torn apart on hearsay and if it goes to court and we hear proper evidence then I will make an informed opinion.

"A fund has paid out 150million to over 100 of Epsteins victims, if you are pally with him then you are pretty complicit. That's an industry..

I don't think you can have guilt by association.

If you go to a swingers club and later find out some scumbag had taken underage girls, should you also be guilty if you spoke to one.

If he is guilty that is fine but not guilty by association. "

I saw the actor chaz palminteri being interviewed once and he was talking about growing up in a rough area, saying that after one or two near misses with the law, a local cop gave him a piece of advice that if he kept hanging around with the same kids, it would eventually bite him in the ass, saying “if you lie down with dogs, you’ll get fleas”.

"

I'm impressed that you were able to change a thread about Prince Andrew into one about nefarious police officers.

Just a few points to comment on ....

1. How would the Protection Officers know the content of any document served upon Andrew? Do you think they all read his mail over a cuppa before patrol?

2. How could the Home Sec order the Police to say anything? The Police work with Politicians but are independent from them. And in any case, the Home Sec cannot order them to say something they don't actually know. (see point 1 above).

3. The Scottish police officers in and around Balmoral do not wear the same uniform as the Metropolitan Police in London. (In fact, not even all the English forces wear the same uniform).

4. The Scottish police in and around Balmoral took a different oath of office from those in the Metropolitan Police.

5. Which of the officers at Balmoral has sexually assaulted any young woman? Name just one of them if you could please.

Good try though!!!!

I think it's probable he had knowledge or at least deep suspicions but I just can't think that he would have been directly involved in the grooming gang but im happy to be proved wrong by the courts.

"

But once again you are saying this with full hindsight.

I had no idea this lady existed until epstine killed himself.

Now I don't rub shoulders with the rich and famous and maybe if you run in those circles you knew at the time that she was a wrong un.

But I don't know half of what people get up to who I associate with either work or socially.

I know what I know for the few hours I hang out with them, and the same in reverse. No one who knows me personally would have a clue that I am a swinger.

So once again guilt by association is no guilt at all.

May as well say the sins of the parents should be transferable to the kids.

If he is guilty he should go to jail but I'd like to see the facts not just peoples thoughts on him with no actual knowledge.

Wild accusations without proof. You find them entertaining, as you stated. I find them damaging and dangerous ... I have seen peoples lives, livelihoods, careers and relationships destroyed by this sort of behaviour. I prefer to stick to facts.
