How many of you on here who have been here for ages find that people who choose to leave here then rejoin and then message you to re verify them. What are your thoughts on this. It happens to me often

It’s not happened to me very often, no.

If they were fairly recent I guess I’d be ok with it. From a year ago, probably not.

I have done in the past when meeting people was on my radar

At the moment, it isn't, so it seems needy to ask purely to be seen as 'more genuine' by others

I have done this as well for people who I gave previously met and got on with. I've no issue with verifying them again. Unless it's someone who keeps leaving and coming back. I do mention in the veri how I met them on a previous profile tho.

I won't ask. As flatering as my veri's were, they were from another time. I don't buy into it anyway and won't lose sleep over not having any, just my choice.

Have a few who keep disappearing and rejoining and every time it’s the same story. ANNOYING as . It’s okay once but yeah…

I re-verify if they ask. A verification from me is likely to kill all chance of them ever meeting again anyway so no-one ever asks.

I have no issues with re verifying someone if they return but I only do it once. If they leave again and return I have refused on several occasions.

I did it for an old friend who left forum and rejoined but doesn't wish to come back to forum. We did webcam in the past and I was happy to do so.

I don't mind as long as they're not a serial leaver/re-jouner...it gets rather tiresome when they ask you to write a 27th veri

It's not happened yet but I would be reluctant.

Probably because I'm not one to delete my online accounts ever and just make them private / hidden.

I see a lot of profiles declaring, 'I've been here before', and wonder why they are so quick to delete.

Belfast

I had 20+ veris on my last profile before leaving and deleting it. The vast majority of those were social and from a fab walking group.

When I rejoined with this profile more than half of those who verified me before had also left the site and I didn't ask any of the others to reverify me because it was a whole new journey with a different mindset. I've never even spoken to those who verified me before.

Only if I am still friends with them. I'm likely to know why they left and why they are returning.

We have had a few, usually single guys that get in a relationship delete their account then when it doesn’t work out jump back on Fab and so ask is to verify them again.

Passed Beyond Reach

Usually blokes pretending still to be couple send messages out. Veris are usually given without checking if they are still a couple. Mates veris

Why veris not worth the the typing in a lot of cases

I've redone a few but only after asking a couple of questions to make sure they are who they say they are. But for serial re-joiners then I don't, I usually block them.

Take a look around!

See the mess!

Re-verify no-one!

Let them earn their stripes the hard way!

To ask for people to re-verify you based on a new profile is laughable and highly embarrassing in my eyes!

Have they NO shame!

Begging for crumbs!

I'm not joking!!!!!

I deleted due to having a rather unsaviour follower who was relentless. Ive come back to nobody knowing who i am... (it's funny and enlightening nobody knowing exactly who this is!!!! Hahaha) , therefore wouldnt ask to be re-verified by those i have met! What is past is past for me

I don’t mind when it’s once - but I get tired of the people who constantly disappear and re-appear and ask for a new verification every time. I get sick and tired of advising people to hide their profile rather than delete it!

I only have one verification for this reason. I quit too often. At one point we had 50 plus verifications.

But I'm not going to pester people when it's less important than I used to feel.

At first we were worried about being believed to be genuine. Now it's ok. If people don't think we are real then they are entitled to their opinion and it won't actually affect us
