Compulsory viewing on Saturday mornings

Wasn't there a Three Musketeers cartoon as part of the programming ?

I also remember a lot of badly dubbed East European 'Adventure' Series being on at the same time, and also White Horses

As for the history of Banana Splits:

Brackley, Northants

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

One banana, two banana, three banana, four.

Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more.

Over hill and highway the banana buggies go

Comin' on to bring you The Banana Splits Show.

Makin up a mess of fun

Makin up a mess of fun

Lot's of fun for everyone.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Four banana, three banana, two banana, one.

All bananas playing in the bright warm sun.

Flippin like a pancake, poppin like a cork

Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Tra la la, la la la la.

Ask her if you can ALL swap to low fat yoghurt! If all we're talking about all week is cakes and desserts, I could be in trouble.

It's slightly offset at the moment by the fact I'd have to go out to get some. But I do need some sort of filter to hide the mention of such things, yes.
