Good evening to all of you I hope all of you are well and look after yourselves.. an hour ago or a couple of hours ago I posted a video about mental health and depression but I'll say it on here as well before you speak, before you type think about what it is you're going to say, some people might take it to heart some people might take it seriously it could damage them and it also could make them do something that is regrettable..

Early hours of this morning I found out that my mates mate commits suicide they were looking for her all day yesterday but no one found her until late at night when the news broke. So like I said please before you say anything think before you open your mouth because it could have have effects on people just because someone said that alright doesn't actually mean that they're alright rest in peace Amy

Very sad but suicide unfortunately is not un common and with ready to see news such as social media it seems more common

I am sorry to hear of this, it is so very sad.

I haven't seen your video.

I think a little bit of kindness and empathy goes a long way.

I'm not down with those people that are 'arses' just because they can be.

Sorry to hear that. Calls for help often do unanswered

As a former addict I see a few every year now on Facebook of old friends taking either own life. It’s tough to see

So sad! I still think of my daddy everyday who i lost to suicide when i was younger, It takes a few years to understand that it's about them and not you. I watched your video and not sure how you are creepy for having empathy for others? I'm not ashamed to admit i've had low days and it's crossed my mind several times! Especially when at school which was horrendous and at home wasn't much better. But talking about feelings does help sometimes! However i noticed you said committed suicide, I personally don't like that term i think died to suicide sounds better. Thank you for having a kind heart! It lasts longer than an ugly personality. xo

Sorry to hear about what has happened I have been close to ending it myself and that’s recently as well. I had a heart attack a couple of months ago and part of the reason is due to some personal issues I’m currently going through. So there’s been times when alone I’d wish it had taken me and end the shit I’m living through.

However there’s nothing you can do when it comes to other people. Go on social media and it’s endless happy posts of new babies, weddings or just country walks with their dog and loving partners. These hurt just as much as someone saying something out of turn in some cases even more, as you see what you’re missing out on.

But you can’t ask other people to stop, we now live in an age where people are more open about their private lives and often want to paint a picture that’s far from the truth.

I have had plenty of people waffle on about caring for others in my life, posts pointing out about suicide etc..yet when I hint or even tell them out loud I’m struggling, the help isn’t forthcoming or short lived.

I’m lucky as I recognise my depression in myself, what’s causing it and that it’s a temporary thing. Although my mental health has taken a battering I’m still able to function and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately Amy didn’t or couldn’t so I now hope she’s found peace.

So RIP x

Would be good to see fab implement a message board for mental health. As much as this site is a fun place to be. Alot of people do suffer and having a forum where people can talk about it is helpful. Especially when talking to a stranger is some times easier

Sorry to hear it. I've experienced it (although I'm not gonna pretend I felt the same way you are, maybe, maybe not) myself and it's a horrible, horrible thing.

Haven't got any magic words or anything.

Anyone who's thinking dark thoughts, please seek help. It's not easy, but it IS worthwhile to at least try.

While I agree some may worry opening up on somewhere like here may put people off approaching them for fun

I suspect there are more specialised platforms for that
