I am not but my mother is, she have baked 2 kinds, one brownie which we had yesterday and today she have baked a carrot cake which we will have to our coffee

I used to write cake recipes for a living! Be honest though, cake mix straight from the bowl is better than the actual cake.... Anyone want to lick my spoon?!

Nope on rubbish. Can cook really but only sweet things I canske are Chelsea buns, pancakes and apple pie. Any cake attempts are useless. I can't even do a Betty Crocker mix that's how crap I am.

Ty and yes she is amazing too, yes the special cake she makes which is one of swedens specialities, which are the brownie, in sweden we say "kladdkaka"(Sticky chocolate cake) another favorite swedish cake is called "Prinsesstårta" (princess cake).

That vicktoria sponge cake you do sounds tasty as well and yes, it is good to start early to plan for christmas as well

Only baking I do is in the sun when I've forgetten the SPF, but eating cake is an actual hobby ...well, no, WAS a hobby, while I'm "being good" and doing the health thing (with the odd slip/lapse)

I love baking a cake. And I will offer one piece of advice too those that do: a spoonful of olive oil in the mix. You won’t taste it or notice it but your cakes will stay moist for longer

I think I'm pretty good...whenever I've made cake to take into work it's always been devoured quickly.

And I used to get requests for my Christmas cakes from lots of friends and family...so many that it just got too much and I didn't have the time or space to make them.

If you have any edible lavender to hand put a tablespoonful in the lemon drizzle when mixing. I just can't make them fast enough for my friends and family.

Nope it’s not my area of expertise whatsoever but my lady makes cracking cakes of all varieties so I’m blessed to be able to munch fresh cakes pretty much whenever I please. Only downside is I end up on the dishes... can’t have it all
