swinging and sex is fun but..

I still ain't feeling as happy as I could be, sex is great don't get me wrong but at the end of the day you experience it your self then go home and your alone again. I think it's time I start to find that special someone who you can share your time with, and enjoy each others company and have something that isn't just about sex. I had girlfriends in the past but a while back, it's always hard trying to find someone though I'm rubbish at approaching women :/

Although from time to time I miss the intimacy of being with a special someone, I only need to remember the pains and hassles associated with living with another person full time and I'll snap back to reality.

I have had my fingers burnt in the past, and am conscious that I have a lot to lose.

I would rather be on my own than with the wrong person.

Hence being on FAB suits me, and I have no intention to change the status quo.

I am not going to say never never, and when someone who ticks all the right boxes comes along and sweep me off my feet, I am not going to say no.

In the meantime, I shall enjoy myself as a singleton.

agree, you cant beet having someone to cuddle up to in the evening, find yourself a lady, be brave, and if your lucky she might be into swinging aswell

I would love to be in that boat too. Maybe oneday. But at the moment work and child commitments mean I can't give that special person enough of what they need.

try a dating site, but that will prob not work, the best way to find people is to just get out there and meet people, and take the bull by the horns, be brave, you never know, and whats the worst that can happen, she says no

Don't try or look to hard, that's when what your after gets even harder to get or further away. It has a habit of creeping up on you unawares when you're not looking lol.... so if you can put up with the wait while single and it's well worth you living your life to the full while you do then it'll all be worthwhile - things do happen and it will always get you in the end, that's for sure

Now in the meantime there's all these girls on here you really should be meeting...

I can relate to this. I swung alone for a year or so and got jaded with it. I was mainly meeting couples and it got to me that they went home and had each other and I was left alone.

I am lucky. Met a fantastic girl through Fab, been together 18 months, now live together and very much in love.

Hope you have similar luck mate

Aw bless you! Having spent time on my own and as a couple, I have to say I much prefer being part of a couple, someone there for me and vice versa,

As wolf said, dont try and look for that

"special person" to hard, when it happens you will know! Just relax, be yourself and let it all happen naturally!

I am the same as some others. Have dated and swung (not at same time) on and off for the last 6 years. I would love to meet that special one but refuse to be in a relationshup with bad sex. I would give up the swinging for the right person but I honestly dobt see that they make men like I wish to find. From family life to shortage of spare time to being a confident lady and outspoken.....a man would have to be one hell of a man to take me on. So I stick to fab as it works....if its bad sex I move on. If its good sex I ask for more but then always lots of new people to meet and have fun with.

I was confident I would still be single at 40 and in the same way I am.sure I will be single at 45. Good luck isnt something I tend to get so stick.with meeting wonderfully sexy people and silently dreaming of a day when I meet a special person that loves me for me and all the silly stuff that comes with it lol

I used to be just the same and I'm sure I still would be if single.

I was lucky with Shaz though, Shaz tagged along with a friend and his missus to my house and when they decided to go, Shaz said she was going to stay for a bit... She never did go home, just invited herself haha

Funny though, we never did ask each other out, it just kind of happened then just kind of got married.

13 years on and we are still as strong if not stronger than day one.

So don't worry to much it will happen and I think if you go looking for a partner it can take longer.
