Like everything in life it changes and not always for the best, we found that the lockdowns bought out a hell of a lot of the fakes etc but then there were millions of sad lonely people so it figures

It has got worse over time i think, a lot of dreamers and timewasters for sure. Quite a few just want to be penpals too, which is all good i suppose. Just not for me.

Plenty of genuine folk to make up for all of that though

Have fallen prey to this. I don’t feel comfortable meeting people from here. I prefer to go to events and clubs, and get a feel of the personality’s and chemistry.

Safer to get to know someone a bit more before heading for a private play.

I’ve been on and off here for 4 years and I have to say I haven’t come across any fakes or time wasters or been stood up. Maybe I’m lucky or maybe I just choose wisely I don’t know. There’s also been a pandemic which did and still does affect people’s mindset about meeting.

I have come across more genuine people than timewaster and fakes on here .

Fakes are easily spotted if you keep being fooled by them then you should really have a look at why they are catching you out all the time.

Usually the fakes and time waster line seems to be used by people who are struggling to get meets and have decided everyone who won't meet them asap is either a fake or time waster .I chat for a while before I meet off here and it has worked for me so far I've never had a no show yet. If people don't want to chat for a while that's grand they can move on. Everyone does it their own way on here.

I do find however quite often people tend to put very little effort in but yet expect great results from fab. You usually get out of it what you put in.

I've been lucky enough to make some great friends through here. Some have moved on with this covid situation and some have remained.

Everything evolves and changes though and theres always been the odd fantasist who likes the idea of meeting but is to scared to meet. This isn't a new concept though.

I'm still happy chatting and making friends, if it leads to fun excellent if not I still have a friend to enjoy.

Absolutely agree

I wish I’d written this, as it’s exactly how I feel about these moaning posts about time wasters.

Plenty of people are getting meets, I’ve had a few off this site. Friends I have on the site have met others on here as well.

So it’s not the site or even the scene in clubs that stop people from being successful in meeting genuine swingers, it’s always you.

I posted this on another thread recently but it applies equally here.

A giant engine in a factory failed. The factory owners had spoken to several ‘experts’ but none of them could show the owners how they could solve the problem.

Eventually the owners brought in an old man who had been fixing engines for many years. After inspecting the huge engine for a minute or two, the old man pulled a hammer out of his tool bag and gently tapped on the engine.

Immediately the engine sprung back into life.

A week later the owners of the business received an invoice from the old man for £10,000. Flabbergasted, they wrote to the old man asking him to send through an itemised bill. The man replied with a bill that said:

Tapping with a hammer: £2.00

Knowing where to tap: £9,998.00

The moral of the story is that, while effort is important, having the experience to know where to put that effort makes all the difference.

Random I know but the number of people joining a succesful site like this and then trying to change it to suit themselves is unbelievable.

As already said, all the tools are available but people choose to ignore those for their own reasons.

If you're getting too many messages you can't whinge about it because filters are already available to solve that problem.

If you're not getting any messages, that's not the sites fault so why try and change it?

If the wrong people are getting in touch block them.

If the right people aren't getting in touch then maybe use the story above as guidance and find out why you're tapping in the wrong place.

If you tap once and it doesn't work smashing it with a sledgehammer is going to be counterproductive.

If you tap and nothing happens, don't blame the hammer.

We find the majority of people moaning about the site are the ones with shadow profile pics, zero profile content and very little idea about the lifestyle.

We’ve made lifelong great friends here and it doesn’t look like it’s stopping.

I get messages at 1am or 2am in the morning " are you free". Am usually just browsing or reading the forums.

Apart from that, the fact as a dresser who will only meet with full makeup up and smooth body, it would take me hours to get ready for a meet.

No doubt the constant times I decline, am automatically assumed to be a timewaster.

I joined fab in 2015 first. People then said it wasn't as good as what it had been.

But they also said the community was too small.

The community has grown and gotten bigger but its natural that it changes.

I got chased off this site once by a brother in law. Him and his friends used the site as a porn substitute. He regaled us about stories of a swinger couple who lived close to us and how his mates were looking for them. I deleted our account under the table while he was talking about finding out who we were. To them this place was amazing and literally a fantasy. To us it was a place where we could connect with people who we had met up with at clubs and events.

Fab was never the center of swinging. It is just an aid to swinging.

I think there is a natural people churn caused by many things - other social media, new social media, better more user friendly dating/alternative lifestyle apps, people getting older and moving on, people settling down in "conventional" relationships, to name but a few things.

So personalities are lost along the way.

I'm constantly surprised by how few fab users use the forums. There are whole communities of people on here who don't chat on the forums but use it as a way to keep an eye on this hot chick they seen at the club last time or that guy with the hands who was at the social.

It about having your own system that will out the fakes and dreamers. If somebody doesn't want to play by our rules we won't meet them simple as. Yes we might miss out on the odd genuine couple but our system has probably help us avoid far more fakes and time wasters than we have lost out on genuine meets.

I really want to say to locked away in my shed for my own personal use

But I have returned after a 4 year break OP. And for me personally it has been exactly the same. I have spoken to some amazing people, had a lot of laughs, meet a few people in person, and had many more conversations.

I started back with an new username and only a couple of people recognised me from before so it was starting from new.

I have zero complaints about fab or anyone on here and I never will.

I'd say it's still just as important.

The forum posts like this haven't changed in the while time I've been here.

Put in effort,

have decent pictures (majority preference seems to be none or only 1 or 2 of your penis),

talk to the people who are compatible in desires,

If you wouldn't meet a couple if both of them aren't equally represented in the pictures that's fine but you can't start demanding it and claiming they are not real if they dont. You don't seem to like the site much.
