Anything really gory or too authentically violent. People being set on fire, buried alive, set upon by mobs of people etc., I just can't cope with it, even if it's not real.

For me it’s when Darth Vader reveals himself to be Luke Skywalker's father.

Reminds me of the time I fought with an enemy of mine in a pub car park and he revealed he’d shagged my Mum and was an evil space Lord too. Some things are just too personal to repeat.

Nooooooo! , he was terrifying, I tried watching it again recently and still become a wuss whenever he shows up. I think it was because the series started out like a really funny and bad soap opera then Lynch just flips it into utter horror. Scarred me for life!

Can’t watch any scene in which a child is killed. So I’ve only watched half of The House that Jack built, one particular scene just got to me so much I turned it off.

The Boy in the striped Pajamas I managed to watch but can’t see it a second time.

Agreed, me and my ex wife actually bought the film to see it. Once and only once I’ve managed to get through it, we also lent it out to a mutual friend but had to warn them in advance, that it was really distressing at one point.

Yes. I heard that they used some specific sound techniques to make the scene feel so realistic. That scene or maybe the whole movie was written to disturb people

It’s what you get with Gaspar Noe, just look at the titles of his previous work

But it’s an interesting premise he brought to that film and the end scene has more to it, with her sitting in the park reading that particular book. Worth looking at and what the book is about.

I didn’t like the film but glad I’ve seen it.

For us both any scene with a much loved dog dying is a aright moment.

Other than that m has a horrific fear and reaction to any movie where someone has something done tk their eyes. He got superglue in his eye at 17 and although there's no lasting physical damage, it's left a lasting psychological scar.
