"Anything really gory or too authentically violent. People being set on fire, buried alive, set upon by mobs of people etc., I just can't cope with it, even if it's not real." This Fake gore not a problem, but if it looks/sounds real, I mute it and look away till its over

" Nooooooo! , he was terrifying, I tried watching it again recently and still become a wuss whenever he shows up. I think it was because the series started out like a really funny and bad soap opera then Lynch just flips it into utter horror. Scarred me for life!

"Surprised no one mentioned "that scene" from Irreversible. One of the most disturbing scenes ever." Agreed, me and my ex wife actually bought the film to see it. Once and only once I’ve managed to get through it, we also lent it out to a mutual friend but had to warn them in advance, that it was really distressing at one point.

I heard that they used some specific sound techniques to make the scene feel so realistic. That scene or maybe the whole movie was written to disturb people

Worth looking at and what the book is about. I didn’t like the film but glad I’ve seen it.
