A few weeks ago I left my partner of 8 years as I saw the relationship was toxic and now I'm just at the point where I can't take anything else going wrong and little things keep happening like the place I was going to view today that seemed a dead cert is now in the air, I've been rejected but so many places I'm almost done looking , and my ex I hope from mindlessness not spit has hurt me by posting an image of my little girl in her uniform for first time ( not sending it to me first) for school induction today I thought it was Monday and was looking forward to it this is after I sent her money for anything she mite need for the kids im currently feeling like the world should swallow me up I know this isn't the normal type of posts but I cant say this in other social media as those lose to me will use it as a rally cry to attack her and then I'll never see my little girl

Always happy to chat in pm if you need support or just someone to talk at.

It's sad that you missed your little girls first day and I too hope it's simy a case of having a lot on her mind as well. It would be awful for the child to be used to hurt you.

I don't remember a y of my first days at different schools etc so don't think your little girl will think anything of it. Just make a big fuss the next time you see her or when you pick her up for the first time x

Things will work out but it's easy to see why you feel as you do right now. It sounds like a very tough time for you x

I feel for you as I have been in a similar place but I didn't have the balls that you had to speak out.

What I have found since the community on here will listen advise but never judge.

They arent doctors or therapists but have ears to listen and hearts of gold.

The picture posting will have been done without malice but excitement on her part.

When we are in the dark place it seems every thing conspired against what we want.

You will come out the other side.

My PMs arent as swamped as the ladies for some reason but always happy to listen.

You say the relationship was toxic so you've just done the hardest bit - to leave. Your little girl hadn't lost her dad, but you'll need time to get settled somewhere and arrange when you see her. Things going "wrong" now aren't at all, it's just things getting jumbled up before they settle down, so try not to focus on what's going "wrong". Fo7cus on you, take it one step and one day at a time. Few months from now you'll look back on this with relief and without anxiety. Good luck sweetie.

I’m so sorry you missed your little girl’s induction day. When you next see her, perhaps you can ask her to put on the uniform just for you and she can share in your excitement. I’m sure she’s very proud of it and would love to wow you with it.

As for your ex, she might do some things out of spite, she might not. She’s trying to get on with her life just as much as you are and you may not be top of mind for her now. Your daughter is that, rightfully so.

It’ll be a hard slog to begin with and you will have your differences, especially where your daughter is concerned. Make you own plans with the time you have with her and speak to the school about including you separately in their communication concerning your daughter.
