Do men get enough credit for braving the world without wearing any make up, cause when women pop down the shops without any it’s kind of a big deal, but men literally spend all day, everyday without any ?!

I go into work minus make up on a regular basis and like heck do I put it on just to go to the shops. M on the other full on glitter eyeshadow and red lipstick just to put the bins out (this last bit may have been made up, and I'll be in so much trouble later

I think this is more down to societies expectations of women to look pretty whereas men are to be rough and ready.

In saying that, looking at the teens now, the boys seem to be embracing the wearing of make up. Times are a changing

I think it's a shame that there's a societal gender difference around make up at all. Why can't we all enhance? Or all go without? It's just coloured paste after all.

Isn't it strange though that in the animal and bird kingdoms it's the males that have the bright colours or fancy features in order to attract a mate?

I suspect more men use makeup subtle makeup, like concealer, or mascara than we realise. Some men look great in makeup.

I love a bit of guy liner and manscara... I dislike foundation n all that kinda guff on anyone tho... It's like I can feel skin suffocating or something

I can't remember the last time I wore make up. I don't possess any.... I did try to wear it for my sister in law's wedding - went to a salon and had it done. Looked at my face in horror, went home and washed it all off
