For someone no longer here you're here a lot.

Op, why not log off and watch a film? Have a nap or go for a run, something to take your mind off it. Obviously accept that's how you're feeling but don't dwell on it.

Couple things help me mainly - either long walks in parks/ nature, or music that reminds me of good times/ uplifting. Last resort is comfort eating, it does sometimes work!

Cheshire

A long walk with a favourite podcast, generally makes me feel a bit better. I have been feeling low for a few months and ended up staying in bed for a day. By the time it got to bed time I felt I had wasted a days holiday, rather than have a good rest.

So I try to go for a walk every day, just to get out and feel I’ve had some benefit from getting up that day.

Manchester (he/him)

Try and work out the root cause of the feelings but also focus on me and try to indulge in myself and do something that makes me happy.

Reading, exercise, an indulgent bath, good food, chats with friends or a favourite film are all totally valid, as are other options.

A bit of TLC is never bad

Drive somewhere quiet in the countryside, and go for a walk on my own. The birds and assorted animals usually help me out my troubles in perspective.

Failing that, like Posh said, knock one out!

Seek solace in the familiar. A favourite food, a favourite film or book. Go to a favourite familiar place if it's no bother. Root yourself a little.

Some suggestions already made can sometimes work but the best thing is to draw a recent memory where something did make you happy or laugh uncontrollably and let that shine through!

Also look at yourself in the mirror, you’re very fit and attractive and there’s a lot of people that would love to be in your company.

If I was in France I might be tempted by a Mille Feuille, but I’m not massively keen on cake.

I just roll with it and allow myself to feel how I feel whilst doing things that might help with how I'm feeling. I'll go for a walk, make myself something nice to eat, exercise and not put pressure on myself to get unimportant stuff done.

I hate running, but it sorts my mind out and when I'm in that mood I seem to be able to go much further.

I end up sweaty as fuck and feel like I'm about to die, but my mind is clear and I feel calm again.
