Are you considerate of others when/if a situation arises or do you just think of what's best for yourself?

It depends on the situation.

I'm no saint so I can usually judge when it's appropriate to consider my own needs first.

I try and always put others first, wether that’s me writing in here or in life in general. I think if others usually before myself. I think that’s because I’m

Usually happy with the choice I’ve made anyway

It depends on the situation.

I will always try and see things from the other side. I’m a believer in the necessity to fill your own cup first, before you give to others, so it depends on that really (still a work in progress, but hurting yourself doesn’t benefit anyone).

As much as possible, they'll always the the odd time when they'll be something that's overlooked or not considered but I always look to consider others as I've expect them to consider me

It's possible to consider and take other people's feelings into account without ignoring your own.

Way too empathic for my own good which is why I let the last person i was with take the piss for too long. Constantly making excuses for their behaviour and trying to fix things.

Best place for ppl to be is stand up for yourself and look out for yourself but also try and be reasonable towards other ppl, their needs and situations. Hard to find that balance though

Are you not being considered or are you not making your feelings known?

Absolutely this.

And you can be considerate with others, without putting your needs below theirs.

It’s about how you react and speak I think.

I spend my working life in negotiation, if you don't consider what the other person wants, you are unlikely to get what you want, and even if you do it won't be for long..speaking as an only child its an ability I've had to develop , it didn't come naturally, but its a better way to be as a person.

I very much agree

A case in point is my parents. If I go down so do they, it means me having to say no to some things.
