.

Prince - from the playfully sexually charged pop delight that's Little Red Corvette to the epic, sweeping power balled of Purple Rain. Groundbreaking, fearless, inspirational - there's a Prince song for every mood.

(It was a tough call to be fair, I'm mainly going for Prince because I can't say both and want to even things out a bit)

Bowie, and it has to be total fantasy, or as I like to call it “Bowie, as his life should have been”

It has to include The Laughing Gnome, as I was given that by my grandmother when I was younger- an unrecognised work of genius! Haha x

In this musical he marries me, he’s dressed as Ziggy, from the Spiders from Mars, and I’m in the gown Sarah wore in Labyrinth. He confesses he’s really a vampire, and dedicates Heroes to me, as we re-enact the shirt ripping, whipping scene from Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, before we run into the moonlight to Let’s Dance (it’s absolutely true, that my love of red shoes came from that video and I was madly in love with him and determined to marry him- alas, the closest I got was that my ex hubby was blond and called David Jones)

As you can tell, I’m no longer obsessed with him

Viv xx

But if it’s Prince, I want to re-enact Kiss with him…that deepening of the voice!! Quiver!!!

Bowie - Heroes or Absolute Beginners, he’ll always come first.

But I have a lot of respect for Prince work, so I can’t choose between- The Beautiful Ones or You’ve got the Look, with the beautiful Sheena Easton
