What book are you reading at the moment, would you recommend it and why?

I’m looking for a good book to get lost in for a bit so any good reads will be considered

I'm reading Ghosts of Spain by Giles Tremlett, a journey through the dark side of modern Spain. Very recommended to anyone with an interest in that country, a genuine new perspective.

The best Sci-Fi book I've ever read is "The Turing Option" by Harry Harrison & Marvin Minsky.

Biography wise... Dave Lee Roth "Crazy From The Heat." The music industry, Van Halen....

I honestly have no idea how he managed to keep a diary of all the things he did over those years to make the book. It’s insane. Happy to post it to you once I’ve finished it if you like?

Forgot to mention "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band." Seeing somebody mantion Nikki Sixx jogged my memory.... Read it years ago - great page turner. Couldn't put it down!

Authors: Nikki Six; Mick Mars; Tommy Lee; Vince Neil; their tour manager - Doc Mcghee?

Read this on the plane Journey to see my relatives - nearly finished it too. A well written book from lots of perspectives.

The entire set of Alex Rider books.

I'm reading them to my lad at night and they are surprisingly good.

Basically about a teenage James Bond.

The author was actually hired to continue writing more James Bond books, so he must have done something right.

Lois lane by Greg rucka

A great mystery and detective comic ruckas writing is great and the art work compliments it wonderfully

It's a book I would recommend to any comic fan to read not so much a first time reader as there are some plot points that only make sense with outside knowledge

You should, it's a good read.

There's a program Nikki did on YouTube called my favourite riff and Slash was a guest on an episode. During the introduction Nikki tells him something along the lines of...

"We're going to talk about riffs and guitars, kind of like we did when we hung out"

There's a short pause and they move along. Made me chuckle.

Irvine Welsh is normally a good read, they can be funny, brutal, eye opening and extreme. The bedroom secrets of the masterchef is excellent and a surreal storyline

More than that! There's about 6 trilogies. It's taken me a couple of years to read them all as I have to intersperse them with less emotional books.

George RR Martin really missed a trick in not getting it out before the last season. It would have flown off the shelves.

'February's Son' by Alan Parks. Think what would happen if 'Laidlaw' met Tarantino, but set in the 70s.
